Trustee Scholarship Essay: To apply to BU, applicants must complete the Trustee Scholarship essay. This essay is an important component of the application. Because it is a platform for students to express their in-depth thoughts. Personal insights and the potential to engage with the BU community.
Please choose from one of the two prompts below and submit one essay of 600 words or less as part of your application through the Common Application.

And I followed in their footsteps. The book I have read features a father and a son. Mothers and daughters, teachers and generations of students. I am the sum of their experiences and missions” Is there a book, movie, podcast, or life experience that made you feel more connected to your personal history/identity? And what was the most important thing you learned from that?
- Describe a time when you felt out of your comfort zone or left out in a situation. How did you respond to that moment? And how does it inform your future actions?
